Sebastian Bergmann has a new post on his weblog today concerning sites such as Planet PHP, PHP-Center, and your very own PHPDeveloper.org - all portal sites providing news aggregation.

In the times of blogging (as in: today) I am not sure whether or not portal sites like these are still timely. To stay current with "All-Things-PHP" you just have to read Planet PHP.

It's interesting that he sees our kind of site as a bit "a thing of the past", despite the constant new content. He also tries to express the importance of the trackback to allow others to make more comments on your blog without the need to post along with the others in your comments...
