This week's PHP Weekly Summary has been posted from Zend today. It includes such topics as (of course) PHP 5.0.1, some new function(ality), and lots of discussion from the mailing lists.

New items added to the PHP language this week included: the addition of a new keyword - GONE, a patch that disables emalloc (to allow proper function of the Zend Engine's memory limits), as well as an update to the win32 build's libxml/xsl modules.

Discussion this week was plentiful, and covered topics ranging from an on-the-fly MD5/SHA1 calculation, a thread about the lack of "good" date functions in PHP, and, of course, the talk about PHP 5.0.1 and the documentation that followed it.
