In a quick note from Dynamically Typed today, there's been some suspicious emails floating about that seem to be "harassing PHP developers".

This isn't the first virus message I've had, claiming to come from a known PHP developer - the first, that surprised me, was one from Adam Trachtenberg (PHP Cookbook) and I've lost count since.

He gives the example of the MyDOOM virus pulling information from certain files in your cache and stripping the email addresses out of them. So, keep your eyes pealed for fake emails that seem to come from some of the PHP development teams - it's not what you think...
