From Davey Shafik's weblog today, there's a new posting giving us his small review of the latest offering from Zend - Zend Studio 3.5 beta
If you're a PHP Developer - and you're not living in a cave with a certain FBI Most Wanted criminal - you can't have failed to notice the new Zend Studio 3.5 Beta. [...] Zend Studio 3.5 added what I really needed - FULL PHP5 syntax support. Whilst there was a bug in this the DocBlock syntax highlighting - it would only say the syntax was correct if DocBlocks were followed by classes (not abstract) or functions - meaning you couldn't document vars or abstract classes, or interfaces or pretty much anything. This bug has been mostly fixed in Beta 2, it still b0rkes on abstract classes.
Other than these smalls bugs, ZDE3.5 is an excellent tool for developing PHP5 (and the only IDE to actually support it yet to my knowledge).
Sounds like, according to this, he is really happy with this beta so far, and looks forward to the stable release. With the robust features that this editor has, it doesn't surprise me that he would recommend it.
