MySQL AB is proud to announce that we have now released both the exams that make up the central part of the growing Certification Program for the world's most popular Open Source Database: the central MySQL Core Certification, which went live on March 5 2003, and the advanced MySQL Professional Certification which will be live starting April 14 2004.

Why certify? MySQL certification is an advanced high quality certification process that proves you have skill in maintaining a MySQL database. By getting your company to certify you, you can prove that you are ready to do more advanced, responsible (and better paid) tasks in the company.
