Coggeshall and Zend's Classes
Apr 22, 2004 @ 12:05:30

From John Coggeshall's weblog this morning:

Beginning May 10th, I will be teaching an online training course in PHP through Zend. This 15 hour course will cover all of the essentials of programming in PHP broken down into a 5 week / 3hrs per week schedule. Sound good? If you are interested, you can Click here and see the curriculum and reserve your spot. If the deal wasn't sweet enough already, Zend will even be throwing in a free copy of their IDE for every student.

Although this particular training session is focused on beginner to intermediate programmers, depending on interest its possible to teach much shorter (perahps 3 hour) training courses on a specific PHP subject. If you've got a subject you'd love to learn more about, feel free to leave a comment and let me know!

For $650 USD, that's not too bad considering the 5 classes and the free copy of Zend Studio (starts at $195). The classes look like they cover an Introduction to PHP all the way up to OOP in PHP and Templating. Looks like a great series of classes - kudos to Zend and John for working this up together.
