New this week from Zend is their latest PHP Weekly Summary for the week of April 7th. There are severl announcements from this past week, including the release of two release candidates as well as a few othe bugs mentioned.
Unless you've been living under a rock, you know that both the release candidate for PHP 4.3.6 RC2 and the final of PHP 4.3.5 were posted. Both of these are great strides forward, and brng us closer and closer to the fabled final release of PHP 5.
Also mentioned this pass week, were one larger bug having to do with the constants not working correctly under the PHP CLI (STDIN, STDOUT, and STDERR). And, to wrap it all up, there was talk about two of the newer features - the fact that the mysql extension does not compile in the most current versions of the libraries from the snapshots on the PHP CVS, and the debate over bundling libxml with the versions of PHP 5 or not...
