New from the folks over at Zend is their latest PHP Weekly Summary covering the events of the week previous to March 2nd, 2004.

In this weeks edition there is a new item pertaining to a "conversion appendix" to aid users out there to move from PHP4 to PHP5 as simply as possible. The preliminary copy lives at http://www.php.net/manual/en/migration5.php but is still a bit off from being completed.

In the works as well this past week was talk of several smaller items such as: methods throwing an error when redefined in a parent with a different number of arguments, the issue of XML to objects with SimpleXML (and how it effects strings), and finally, a big push to get the get_browser() method fixed and moved out to PECL (as suggested by Rasmus) to make it easier for the user to install it down the line...
