In a quick note from Harry Fuecks' weblog, there is an informal poll posing the question "how do you learn how to use a library?"

Following an interesting discussion on Sitepointforums, a rough poll. If you're getting started with some class library, like one of the many in PEAR, which of the following (if any) steps do you take to work out how to use it (and in what order)?

I wouldn't mind seeing this question done in a more formal poll situation. I really do think that the results could not only help the community know where to look, but would also help the creators of the libraries cater a bit more to the needs of the PHP population...
