DotGeek.org needs your help this morning - and your suggestions could help PHP coders around the world!
Dear All,
Some time ago, our site (Dotgeek.org) started a PHP certification (full details at
http://www.dotgeek.org/about.php?type=certify ).
The programme has, in my humble opinion, some good points. A free certification managed with some open standards, with an open and public certification board could bring some benefit to freelancers and PHP Developers.
The basic issue here is that the folks at DotGeek don't know what the community wants, at the moment. They offer three options for response - "yes, keep it up!","no need for the certification", and "yes, but let someone like Zend create it". No matter what you think, head over to this forum topic and cast your vote - it can greatly help us all!
