In an effort to try to bring the PHP community under one umbrella, Chris Shiflett and a host of others are creating a site/resource that will allow the community to have a place to call their own. In going with this effort, they are trying to decide on a logo that embodies the ideals of the PHP community.

From Chris' weblog: Are you artistically inclined? We are looking for a logo that embodies the spirit of the PHP community for use with the new community site to be located at phpcommunity.org.

Those who have volunteered to help build the PHP community site are already aware of the logo contest, but the contest is available to any who want to enter, so I decided to announce it in my blog as well.
