DotGeek:
PHP Certification Based on Code
Jan 05, 2004 @ 13:29:33

DotGeek.org has a new post over on their site about a certification they are trying to offer PHP coders all over the world.

To certify, there are certain criteria you must meet including:

  • Tutorial / code sample accomplishes its purpose
  • Cleanliness / readability of code
  • Error handling
And, the process goes as follows:
  • Posting 10 "quality" code samples to the DotGeek Site
  • Request the review/certification of the code
  • If you pass the certification, you will recieve an email with the unique certificate url.

The certification board includes David Costa and Anthony L. Faulds, both well-accomplished in their fields.
