For anyone that's been looking for something to put a little bit more "oomph" into some of their sites and web forms, but wasn't sure that plain old javascript was the way to go, then this page might just blow you away.

In the MX Widgets Suite page, you'll find some pretty awesome functionality, including editable drop-down lists, a calendar widget that doesn't require you to pop up a window, and even a date field that auto-corrects itself to format the user input the right way. These little gems are a pretty awesome sight to behold, and conjure up some pretty cool dreams of how they could be used in your site. These little MX Widgets come at a price, unfortunately, as they are Dreamweaver MX tools and cost USD to purchase. But, in my opinion, even that is quite a steal for these hearty little tools. They can really be a time-saver for all sorts of fields for your application.

Thankfully, these widgets are all pretty standard, so you can plug in all of your PHP code to do the hard work for you. Then, the power of these cool little form elements can be yours.
