DynamicWebPages.de has a new posting this morning about a mailing list they are starting to try to further the growth and beta testers for the PHP5 Beta releases that have been posted.
(translated) One of the larger problems with the releases of PHP5 is that there just aren't enough people working on the documentation or installing the latest builds to be of any good. In an effort to try to help this cause, we're starting an international mailing list to try to help with the lack of documentation for PHP5 and help people migrate to PHP5 via articles/columns about it. If this interests you and you want to take part, send an email to php5-pr-subscribe@dynamicwebpages.org to subscribe to the list.
I think it's a great idea to try and gather the community a bit better around PHP5 and really show them what it can do for them. Sure, the official PHP lists are abuzz with things about PHP5, but it's all about bugs and oddities in the betas. DynamicWebPages has the right idea with a list that's solely for helping people understand "why PHP5?" and to support each other in their discoveries....
