In a response to the Microsoft migration document posted here the other day, HolyGoat has written up a formal response to them and the claims they make in the article.

In his rebuttal, he notes that, while the document does provide some differences between ASP and PHP, its main focus seems not to help people migrate from one to the other, but instead to only show the differences between the two. Of course, his reply points out several mistakes that the people behind ASP have made in the process, coming back with the real answers from the PHP side of things.

The basic concept here (which comes as no big surprise) is that the Microsoft article is "biased, full of lies and misconceptions and its purpose is not very clear. But then, I did not expect much else from Microsoft, their attempts to make people believe in their products are pathetic and dangerous."
