Over on DevArticles.com this morning, there's a new general article about the creation of dynamic sites with PHP, MySQL, and CSS.
The high costs and difficulty of updating and changing a site also contribute. Businesses change all the time and those changes need to be reflected in the web site on an ongoing basis. A web site that is stale and static detracts from rather than augments a business. What is needed is a "sustainable" site. That's what this article has an example of. Now, granted, they don't get into much detail on how it really all works together (a key aspect), but they do provide some PHP/HTML and SQL. Near the end, however, he doesn't create an integrated solution for users to update their site easily. He simply refers to tools like phpMyAdmin to get the job done.
It's good that there are still general articles like these out there for people to reference, but I think the general community could benefit from a bit more "meat" than this...
