Starting off this week, Zend has their latest PHP Weekly Summary to recap the events of this past week in the PHP world.
This edition mentions the PHP 4.3.3RC3 release, stating that they hope it will be the final release candidate for PHP 4.3.3. (So do we...) There was also quite a stir about the BinaryPHP project that is in the works. For those that missed it, this project allows you to convert PHP to C++ so that you can compile it quickly and easily. Right now, they only have a proof of concept release out with two test scripts, but the promise for it is great.
There are two smaller things mentioned, including a patch that will color code PHP errors according to their type, and a mention about some of the work being done to get a consistent build with the imlib extension.
