PHPEverywhere has an interesting posting this morning about some PHP market research that really needs to be done in the business world.

I know some popularity reports exist and I also know that Zend has made this survey, but they are both missing some essential figures on money, enterprise acceptance and so on. [...] I would appreciate any figures on the web development market - because this is the market for most of us - and knowing the market could only be a good thing.

He continues on to give some questions that he would like to see on a good, solid research report. These would not only give everyone a good idea about how PHP is really being used in the enterprise, but it would also provide a good "here, look at this" for all of those bosses out there that are just on the edge about allowing PHP to be used.
