Well, as can happen to all web sites out there, phpPatterns.com has fallen victim to an unreliable web hosting company.

Unfortunately, his list goes on and on about things that his host had done in the past to make things difficult for him and his site, and now the site has been taken down, pending a new host being found. It's sad to see this resource go down like this, especially one that there is no replacement for on the web (as far as I know). There wasn't any other site out there that took some of the development patterns built in other languages and made them relevant to PHP.

Hopefully, phpPatterns will find a new host soon, and this quality resource and its content will be back for the whole PHP world to use...
