Zend:
Checkin' Out the Past
Jul 14, 2003 @ 12:19:10

Of course, starting this week off right, is the latest PHP Weekly Summary from Zend this morning.

In this latest edition, they cover some smaller bugs/happenings that have been found, both in the current release and in the upcoming PHP5. These include: an OCI8 bug in PHP 4.3.2 and the OCIInit() function, PHP5 support for Netware, and a patch that would create the MD5 and SHA1 hashes of an uploaded file "on the fly" while the file is still in memory.

Also mentioned are an update to the strip_tags function to make it case-insensitive for tag matching, a note about the "Ask the Experts" column that Zeev has been doing, and a Reflection API that has been proposed as a new interface.
