Zend.com has released a PHP 5 beta comment list as well as a TODO list for Beta 2. By the looks of this posting, there's still a lot of work to be done. It seems that there is still No official PHP 5 documentation yet which could be a problem :) The PHP team still has the fun of migrating PHP's default session storage mechanism (files) towards an SQLlite database.

If you are like the thousands of other eager developers from all over the world then you have probably already downloaded the first beta version of PHP 5.
