Well, it's been a while (for those keeping track), but the fine folks over a Codewalkers.com have posted a new contest for all of the coders out there.

This latest contest involves creating software to play a simplified game of Risk. The game is played on a non-accurate map of the world and your object is to eliminate all other players from the board. At the beginning, territories are distributed randomly and then you conquer new ones by attacking them with your army. You get new soldiers each turn, depending on how many territories you have. Special bonuses are given for controlling entire continents.

There are quite a few rules on this one, determining how the moves can be made and when they can be executed, but there are also several great prizes as a result.
