In one of the latest articles from DevArticles.com this morning, there's a great and simple way for those of you out there that need toplace ad banners on their sites (and track them) can get the job done.

In Rotating Banner Advertisements with PHP, they give you a short set of code and database structure that will help you create your own "ad management system". Now, obviously, there will be several improvements that you'll see as you go along, but this is a good start. You'll need to know MySQL and PHPLib beforehand to get the most benefit out of this article, but it's still useful otherwise.

While ad bannners aren't what they used to be in the online world, they still can be useful for driving traffic to little known sites and other affiliates. Hopefully, once I get the new site a bit more complete and release it, I can make an ad management system for it too.
