Well, feel free to be shoked and amazed - but don't hold your breath. PHPEverywhere has a link this morning to a comparison of PHP and ASP. What makes this one different, though, is the fact that it's done by Microsoft themselves.

Of course, there's some bias here, as you'd expect, but they do paint a pretty clear picture of both languages and their features. It's not a very pretty scene they present for PHP, though (should be expected in a review from M$). They also show the database connection examples with the ODBC libraries (popular for a database layer) instead of just the regular function calls.

Of course, for a comparison, it's pretty through, but the summary at the end falls flat. The point of the article was to compare the two, and yet they don't even come to a conclusion. Though, I suppose if they had, we all know what/who they would have picked...
