In yet another prequel article to PHP 5.0, DevArticles has posted a new piece titled What to Expect in PHP 5.0.

This article is split up into two parts – Life before PHP 5.0 and the future with PHP 5.0. This will hopefully exemplify how PHP has developed into the powerhouse that it is today. He starts off with some history of PHP, for those new to the language, then moves into the differences you'll see when PHP 5 rolls around. It's not a very long article, but it does touch on some of the interesting things to come. I wish there had been a bit more detail on some things, but it is just an overview article...

Oh, and it's "Rasmus Lerdorf", not "Ramous Lerdorf" who created PHP in 1995...
