To start of the week the right way, we need to see where we came from - and the latest Zend Weekly Summary can help.
In this edition, there's talk of the Intro to PHP5 that was posted here the other day, as well as some other bug/features issues. Some of these deal with the slowdown you get when you go thread-safe in PHP, as well as some of the non thread-safe extensions that exist that may or may not work well with Apache 2.
Some of the smaller items on the list include a more advanced date handling class, a fix for the "255 files" bug on Solaris, and some issues that were noticed with the pre-PHP5 builds dealing with the namespaces.
