Of course, one of the largest stories to break lately is the apparent "going under" of the Wrox Publishing company. Right now, a lot of what's been going around is rumor, but I personally (since the book I wrote is now in print), have a stake in all of this.
I can tell you that they've suspended all payments as of right now, and there is a grass roots movement underway to try to recoup some of the funds that were promised to the authors for their works.

Update: I have word from several sources (including authors in direct contact with Wrox staff) that this is not just a rumor. The Wrox Publishing company is/has gone under and the people that worked there are now seeking other employment.
