Just in case you haven't been paying attention (or don't read Slashdot), there's a new search engine in town - Roogle.

Besides the obvious allusion to the name of another very popular search engine, this little gem is packed with some pretty cool features. The idea is to take all of the RSS feeds that are floating about out there, combine them, and make them into something that can be used, indexed and searched. Ever since the Slashdot article, they've been under quite a bit of load, so be patient when checking it out. The best part about it all? It's written in PHP, of course (by Scott Johnson of The Fuzzy Group). There's all sorts of find possibilities for this tool, especially with the recent explosion of blogs and sites with an RSS/RDF file on the 'net.
