From the folks over at Zend, there's the latest PHP Weekly Summary posted this morning.

In this past week, there were a few major bugs that surfaced that were corrected, including a set of issues that would prevent PHP from working correctly in a 64-bit environment. There were also some mentions of the new "apache2filter" that will speed up PHP and Apache interaction quite a bit in the upcoming releases.

And, for those out there on the bleeding edge of things, there's also a note for you: Just a quick note of warning to those users who have begun evaluating or intend to begin evaluating any PHP test release with the new Zend Engine (v2). The new namespaces feature does not allow you to have nested spaces, ie. One namespace inside another.
