Just in case there was any doubt that the adoption rate of PHP is still on the rise, DynamicWebPages.de has posted a link to the latest NetCraft graph of the usage of PHP.
As is pretty clear by this information, PHP is back on the rise. There was a slow adoption rate there for a bit in January (maybe because of some of the issues that 4.3.0 fixed?), but it's good to see that things are getting back on track. Over 10,519,623 domains have PHP installed worldwide, and 1,220,927 different IP addresses are using it. That's quite a bit, and the numbers are only getting larger.
It's amazing how this language of ours has evolved and changed over the years, and it's always great to see more and more people discover the simplicity of it and the simple joy of rapid application development.
