Of course, this week just wouldn't feel right if the folks over at Zend didn't post their usual PHP Weekly Summary.

In this week's edition, there are only a few major points of import - including how to compile a CVS version of PHP 5 with RedHat, a new XML-based PHP extension system (this could become a really cool tool), and some other smaller issues with bug fixes and new features being added.

One of the interesting bugs noted here is the largest bug of the past week, the 4.3.0 security flaw in the CGI installations. If you haven't heard about this yet, check out the main PHP page for more information, and get your install patched.
