For everyone out there that wonders if they can make it with YAPS (Yet Another PHP Site) out there in the wild and wooly world of the web, then you should take a look at this new posting over on phpFreaks.com.

For a site that started as nothing more than a "hey, lets make a site devoted to PHP and make it into a good resource for the world", they've done pretty well for themselves. They've grown quite a bit in the last year, and in fact: we have finally passed the 3,000 members mark. On February 6th, 2003, our 3,000th member signed up. Congratulations whoever you are! For our second milestone, we passed the 1 MILLION hits mark on February 6th! We define a hit as a single session started on our site. Every time a person comes to our site, a new session is started. So essentially, each browsing session counts as one hit. Our finally milestone was to break 10,000 visitors in one day.
