Just a quick note for those out there anxiously awaiting the release of PHP5 - hope just might be in site, according to phptraveller.

According to the newest post on php traveller: Now it is official. Since a couple of weeks ago, the work on the PHP5 branch of development has started. The year 2003 will be the year of PHP5; it is expected in Q3/Q4 this year. The question on everyone's mind is: What will the new version of PHP bring?

Of course, this means you can check out a version of the PHP 5 tree from the CVS server, but there's not much changes in the modules yet. And, if it's something specific you're looking for, then check out the PHP TODO to see if it made the list (so far).
