Over from Zend this morning, like the good little PHPers they are, they've posted the latest PHP Weekly Summary for this past week.

One of the major things in this weeks edition is the creation of an RSS feed for the PHP.net bugs site - Sara Golemon has been working on a script which provides an interface to individual bug reports – the natural progression of which seems to be publishing that information in RSS format. Sara is going to try out a few different ideas and see which works best – so hopefully we’ll have more details next week for you.

Some of the other factoids that are included are things like the idea of a case-insensitive str_replace (needed, IMHO), the sudden inflow of PHP conferences that have been announced, and various XML issues (array -> XML, and Sablotron build problems), and, finally, a discussion on the PHP lists about PHP doing some mandatory file locking as part of the language....
