Over on Zend this morning, it looks like they're getting back into the groove of things, and posting their latest PHP Weekly Summary. Of course, it includes things like the PHP Look Back (now famous in the community), and the move towards the new Zend Engine for the next versions of PHP.
One neat thing that's mentioned as well, is the presentation that was given at PHPCon 2002 about creating extensions for PHP (in C). Over on this site, the slides give a step-by-step guide for creating these extensions for developers who are inexperienced with the PHP (and Zend Engine) architecture.
And, on one slightly funny note - the changelog on the main PHP site hasn't been updating lately. They're working on it, but it's not quite fixed yet....
