A new service has been launched over on CodeWalkers.com, called the "CodeWalkers PHP Host Directory". The goal, as the name states, is to create a large repository of all of the dedicated/shared/colo/etc hosts out there that allow you to use PHP or have the ability to upgrade your plan to get PHP access.

Yes, it's similar to the one over on the main PHP site, but there's not much going on over there lately, so the fellows at CodeWalkers are picking up the fight and providing a listing of their own.

The script allows you to log in, provide some information about the host, and let other people comment on them. It's a great idea, but it just needs some major community involvement. There's only a few entries in there right now, but if each person reading this goes to the site, logs in, and creates just one entry, they'd have an impressive directory in no time - it just takes one...
