Well, if you haven't noticed yet (or have been living under a rock), the MySQL.com web site has gotten a major facelift - for the better, too.
The old "boxes" design is gone, and a new, cleaner, more friendly interface has taken it's place. Of course, prominently placed is their mascot - the dolphin, swimming proud and free. All of the familiar elements are there - links to their manual and downloads sections (though a bit harder to find for new viewers), as well as a bit larger section for their news and company information. They also have, on the right hand side of the page, a complete listing of their new training offerings and where they're going to be held.
Overall, it's a much better look than before, and I think that the large image at the top serves it well. It helps to give the eye a place to "rest" and not have to worry about all of the cluttered content below.
