Well, unless you've been living under a rock, you've noticed that the first issue of the new PHP magazine, php|architect, has been released. It's a jam-packed 70+ pages of information distributed through a PDF they sent to all of their subscribers.
With the subscription price being $1.99 a copy or $18.99 for 12 issues (USD), they're saving tons on distribution costs - but that doesn't mean that they've skimped on the magazine itself. The content is exceptional and comes complete with code samples and example scripts you can download at your leisure to review. It makes more sense that a magazine about PHP would be distributed over the internet (and the PDF format is much better than just plain text) - but it will still be nice to see those other magazines on the shelves next to the scores of ASP publications.
If you'd like to comment on this first issue, post your ideas/thoughts over on this topic in the PHPDN Forums.
