Wow, lots of news today for the day before everyone heads out to be with family and friends (at least around here they do). I imagine they're trying to squeeze it all in before the holiday since there won't be much later on. Fortunately, Eric Coleman got word to me before the holiday about a new site started by one of the mentors over on the SitePoint forums, Harry Fuecks. The site, phpPatterns.com was started to be a central repository for "PHP patterns" - ways of doing things ad structuring your programming so that it's the most efficient and works correctly the first time (no logic errors at least). They already have a few designs in their listing, with more, I'm sure, to follow.

This site is a really good idea for people that have hit that "wall" in PHP where they know there's a better way to do things, but they just need that structure to get things working. Their Advocacy section has a lot of potential as well.

Welcome to the community phpPatterns.com...
