If you'll remember a while back, Zend has a "Trick of the Trade" section that was presented detailing a set of functions that helped you build a calendar with PHP. Well, the second part of that series has been posted - Extending the Calendar Interface marks the return of Jason Gilmore, and some fun new features for your calendars.
The article starts off where the last one left off, adding the features of pagination, the ability to "localize" the calendar (make it match a person's local date and monetary systems), as well as showing how easily a yearly view can be created.
A simple calendar like this has so many uses, it's ridiculous. News entries or blog entries are just the beginning - there's a whole world of uses out there, and these articles make using them just that much easier....
