You asked for it, and now you've got it!

The response to the first part of the Building a Members Area with PHP from DevArticles was wonderful - it was just what a lot of you out there needed for your sites. Well, now they have the second part in the series posted, Part 2 of 6.

In this part of the series, they start with the base that they made last time (the class that they pieced together) and work with a database to create the actual login/logoff areas of the site for you to place content behind. And, of course, what good is a login if no one can sign up, so they give you some examples code to handle that as well. The heart of this article is the actual login functionality, but in the next part of the series, he will show you how to make the sections "behind the magic" and create the different user levels for people logging into your site.
