Rumor has it that one of the more popular German PHP magazines has a project in the works to bring it's publication to other countries, including the United States and Australia.

The pending release for this magazine is in December of this year, and hopefully will be a huge success.

This isn't the only company seeking to be the one to have that coveted spot on the coffee table. Here's some others that are jumping into the PHP magazine market:

• the PHP Architect - this magazine will be put out in only PDF form, reducing the costs of printing. They already have the contents of their first issue listed on their site as well. (subscribe)
• The PHP Journal, put out by more of the folks involved with the actual PHP project. (subscribe)
• And, now, the rumor of a release from the folks over at the PHP Magazine

It's great to see so many companies branching out and making the leap into the publication world. It's about time PHP had a few of it's own sitting up there on the shelf next to all of those Wireds and ASP.NET magazines....
