Just to prove that the priorities over at Zend haven't changed a bit since the new site was put out there - they have their latest PHP Weekly Summary posted.
There's talk about the release schedule for PHP 4.3.0 ("coming out shortly") and other smaller mentions of things like: improvements in the strlen function, photos from the PHP conference, a SMB client for PHP (this would be pretty cool), as well as additions of certificates to OpenSSL, MySQL "embedded" in PHP, and the possibility of having PHP directly interface with Microsoft's SQL Server.
There's quite a few little things in here that might make it worth checking out - especially the discussion on when the formal release of PHP 4.3.0 will be.
