In another cool move, the folks over on PHP.net have created something else to make your searches of the PHP manual just that much easier. Their latest tool - a search bar for the major browsers - allows you to have a bar in your browser that's a direct interface between you and the manual.

We added a new option to access our site's content quickly. In addition to URL shortcuts, keyboard shortcuts and browser specific magic you can now use our Search Bar from the major browsers. Please help us to test this new service, and provide feedback via the bug system (categorize your bug as a PHP.net website bug please).

The IE one integrates pretty nicely, popping up over on the side where the normal IE search functions usually stay. I haven't gotten a chance to try any of the other toolbars though - anyone have any comments on those? (Mozilla and Opera 6)
