For anyone else out there that reads the FuzzyBlog, you know Scott Johnson, the blogger responsible for it. And, if you're a "loyal fan" of the blog, then you also know that Scott talked at the PHPCon 2002 a few days ago - and now, he has his presentation online for the world to check out.

The presentation he gave, Software Engineering Practices for Large-Scale PHP Projects, covers a broad spectrum of topics - including maintaining code (even after the project is over), and some aspects of coding standards that some programmers just don't think about. The presentation is quite lengthy, and I imagine he went through this all fairly quickly, but it's a lot of information to absorb. Unfortunately, a lot of it is written in a "notes" style, loosing some of the depth that would have been nice, especially for someone new to PHP.
