One of the most popular German PHP websites, DynamicWebPages.de has gotten a makeover:

It's been a while, but it was time for a fresher layout. There was even a positive side effect - cleaner code and a performance boost for the new pages. There are also a few new small features included, including the ability to comment on each of the news items. So here's to more fun on DynamicWebPages and a great start to a brand new year!

There's tons of great content on the site, and the new layout only helps to make it all that much more accessible. Great job, Wolfgang - a definite improvement!

Andi Gutmans' Blog: Zend Framework invading Zend?

On his blog today, Andi Gutmans has posted some new information about some changes afoot on the Zend websites.

As many of you have seen a couple of months ago we launched a new and fresher look for the Zend Framework site.

When that went live, all the other Web site owners at Zend became jelous and wanted something just as nice. So it seems that slowly a lot of Zend's Web sites will start adopting this look&feel. The first in line was the Zend/PHP Conference Web site

All steps in the right direction - keep up the great work Zend!

In this new post on Richard Davey's blog today, there's information about the complete revamp of the PHP Magazine site (a "lime-green overhaul") and a few other features.

<quote>

International PHP Magazine (you know php|arch readers.. the other one) received something of a face-lift today on its web site. Gone are the yellow and blue colours, and in comes a "whoa! where's my contrast switch?" fresh-green style. Better? Worse? Well it doesn't really make all that much difference, because the real content is the magazine itself, and this one happens to have one of my articles in it...

</quote>

He mentions the book review that he did for the issue as well, covering the "Zend PHP Certification Study Guide". He gave it a favorible review, but not quite as much as it seemed after the editing process had done its work.

You can check out the issue description for more info on the articles inside this months edition...
