7PHP.com has posted their latest interview with a member of the PHP community - this time it's Francesco Fullone, the president of the Italian GrUSP PHP user group.

In this edition I talked with Francesco Fullone who is the President of the Italian PHP User Group GrUSP which is one of the biggest European PHP families. Francesco is an Open-source lover, an enthusiastic PHP Evangelist and a conference organizer. He has also been a speaker at so many conferences - his latest talk being about "Compromises and not solution". You can find more about him on his personal blog "NULLA E' IMPOSSIBILE PER CHI NON LO DEVE FARE!"

They talk some about how he got started with PHP, what kind of environment he likes to work in and some of his advice to people either new to the PHP community or wanting to get involved. They also briefly mention the phpDay/jsDay conferences happening next year in May in Verona, Italy. The Call for Papers for both are still open too, so if you're interested in speaking, get your submissions in!

Since I think that Bari in May must be beautiful, I accepted to go there from May 19th until May 21st. I'm pretty much looking forward to this event, since it means to get to know a lot of new people. If you are located in Italy and are interested on PHP, it would be a pleasure, if you join my talk about eZ components there.

phpDay is organized by the GrUSP and is the third year it's happened. It's divided up into two different tracks - a Enterprise track for companies/business and a Developer track for the technically minded. You can get complete information on the other talks and on registration from their site
