<i>Jon Jackson</i> has <a href="http://www.phpbuilder.com/columns/Jon_Jackson20090109.php3">written up a review</a> of the PHP Designer IDE for the PHPBuilder.com site today. In it he mentions the look and feel of the application and certain features he really enjoys.
</p>
<blockquote>
This IDE provides you with the ability to create and manage all of the code that makes up your website or web-based software in one environment. As a rookie web developer, the software I use plays a major part in how long it takes me to do anything web-related. This means that even when I find something that works for me, I am reluctant to migrate my work habits to new software just because it's new and shiny!
</blockquote>
<p>
At the recommendation of a friend, he tried out PHP Designer and liked what he saw. The interface is clean and professional without being overly cluttered, comes with several useful features - like Tidy and Text Highlighting - and several more. You can find out more about the software <a href="http://www.mpsoftware.dk/phpdesigner.php">on his page</a> on the MPSoftware website.
